My sister was in town for a few days, so we decided to ditch the hubs and join my parents up in Jackson Hole. We drove up, dropped our bags and hit the Snake River. The water was absolutely freezing, but the run was a blast. After a night filled with bonfires, stories and a movie in the back of the car, we were up and off to tackle the river again. This time, we launched with two other rafts... full of very rowdy kids. Let's just say we weren't on the river more than 30 seconds before I was kicked, hit, and flung into the river... many times. The battle wounds were worth it though... it was such a fun run. Later that day, we celebrated my Mom's birthday by taking her into town, getting an old-time photo (photos coming soon), shopping, eating Huckleberry fudge and enjoying a pizza. It was a short trip, but so worth it.

Then it was off to St. George to meet up with Chase and his entire extended family. We spent the weekend celebrating grandma Nonie's 80th birthday. What a fun family to be a part of!
