My cousin Kayla asked me to take pictures of their "superhero" dance group for Viewmont High's MORP (also known as "PROM" spelled backwards).  I love the idea of taking pictures before the dance (and avoid the ghetto backdrop pics you get at the dance).  Why didn't I think of this when I was in high school?

Bridger

Here's a few pics from a fun shoot with two year old Bridger... and his hilarious dog Trixie!  That was a first for me (photoshoot with a dog that is), but it made for quite an adventure.

Lula

Here's Lu. She is the daughter of our friends Rand & Madi... and quite simply, the most animated girl I've ever seen.  She can pull sooo many faces.  Cracks me up.  We got her dolled-up for her one-year photos.  Madi really wanted a "vintage" feel to the photos... and I think we accomplished that.  Enjoy...

Thankful for Family

Among all of the many things I have to be thankful for today, I am most thankful for my family. Thank you for enriching and blessing my life! Today my heart is full and I'm grateful to be surrounded by those I love.

I recently did a photo swap with my neighbor Kellie. Here are the shots she got of our family (taken at the Utah Botanical Center in October). This is such a treasured gift. Thank you Kellie.

Crew turns 1

If you're like me (the shutterbug of the family), it's pretty rare to see yourself IN photos.  You're always the one taking the pictures (or maybe you simply hate seeing yourself in photos).  Being the one BEHIND the lens is where I prefer, but I'm also sad that there are many events and simple candid photos I wish I would have been in.  I recently came across {this article} on Pinterest, and I thought there were so many great tips on how to get into the photo when someone isn't around to take the shot...

Lindsey's Baby Bump

Here's my friend Lindsey at 37 weeks.  Can't wait to meet baby Nash (due 11.11.11).  I hope he comes on his due date.  It would make for an awesome birthday.  Congrats Mike & Linds!

Cook Grandkids

We finally got all the kiddos together for some updated pictures.  Of course, all of the kids were good...  except mine (Tate can't sit still for two seconds)!  Thankfully we got some good ones of all five.  So sad how fast they're all growing.
