A Good Effort

The semi-final state game was in the afternoon, so I wasn't able to attend. Chase, Rand and old roomie Mindy "lewis" sent me simultaneous text messages with game updates. I was on the edge of my chair the whole time. It was tied up, then it went into overtime. I then received a text of a double overtime, where Davis unfortunately lost by two points. A day after its thrilling double-overtime win over undefeated Davis, the Lone Peak Knights followed it up with a convincing 67-53 victory over Bingham Saturday at the Dee Events Center — putting the finishing touches on back-to-back 5A state championships.
